Anna Chaimani, PhD

I am a Senior Research Scientist (Chargé de Recherche) at the Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) in Paris, France, and the Leader of the Evidence Synthesis team at the METHODS team of the Research Center in Epidemiology and Statistics (CRESS). I am also a co-convenor of the Cochrane Statistical Methods Group and of the Cochrane Comparing Multiple Interventions Methods Group. I have extensive experience in the field of evidence synthesis with a greater focus on network meta-analysis. Currently I work on the development of new methods about ranking interventions, synthesis of complex interventions, incorporation of observational data in networks of interventions, and tools for communicating network meta-analysis results. I am an elected member of the Society for Research Synthesis Methodology and member of the steering committee of the COVID-NMA initiative.
