About The Conference
The conference on “Meta-research for transforming clinical research” is taking place on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Académie Nationale de Médecine in Paris.
Organized by the Methods in Research on Research (MiRoR) consortium, this event is featuring international prestigious guests with the aim of discussing recent developments in the field of Research on Research. The main project results will also be presented and discussed during a poster session with the MiRoR fellows.
The conference will bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Meta-Research. The event will be opened by Prof. John Ioannidis who will deliver a keynote speech.

MiRoR brings together 7 world-class research teams in various disciplines from 6 different European countries.
MiRoR is an innovative and ambitious joint doctoral training programme funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, dedicated to Methods in Research on Research (MiRoR) in the field of clinical research.
“Research on Research”, is an emerging scientific discipline that aims to reduce waste in research and increase research value. Tens of billions of Euros are wasted each year on studies that are redundant, flawed in their design, never published or poorly reported. The public is the main victim of this waste and reducing waste and increasing value of research represents a major societal challenge.
